Currently an Art History doctoral researcher at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Ling’s career is defined by a unique synthesis of studio practice and theoretical inquiry. As she focuses on the transformation and regeneration of materials, be it steel, glass, plastics, or compost-based media, Ling cultivates, performs and presents her works as living species. Together, they form multiple crossings of time and dimension to explore a third space between individual experience and collective memory, situated within ecological and social systems.
