Leila Triệu Brannan is a queer printmaker, sewist, and educator. They work primarily with linocut printmaking and sewing that utilizes repurposed paper and fabrics. Throughout the years, Triệu Prints has printed linocut designs on loved clothing and fabrics, with careful placements and simple alterations to revitalize garments, weaving in themes of love, grief and cultural connection. Inspired by the cultural and political artworks of Tranh Đông Hồ and Tranh Làng Sình Villages, Triệu comes to AirHue to connect and learn from local artists specialized in woodblock carving and print making.
